Békásmegyeri Veres Péter High School is an inspiring community where talent and knowledge meet, giving each student the opportunity to develop as an individual.
Our school educates a total of six hundred students in four and eight year programmes. We have 20 classes for students between the ages of 10 and 18.
The aim of our programme is the harmonious development of the individual, alongside the acquisition of a high level of knowledge. Our pedagogical work is based on human values, emphasising the joy of creation, cooperation and individual responsibility.
We offer personalised talent management: we support students with extracurricular activities, mentoring and preparing for various competitions to help them fully develop their abilities.
Through the diversity of our language teaching and international contacts, our students become open-minded young people with a broad view of the world.
Our students can choose to study English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian.
Artistic education is also an important part of our school life: experiences in music, folk dance, crafts and drama help to develop creativity and co-operation.
Our school has been at the forefront of Hungarian secondary schools for many years and our students are accepted to the most prestigious universities in Hungary and abroad.
The school is located on the outskirts of Budapest, but is easily accessible by public transport.
